| Step 'n Stride, Breast Cancer Awareness--Cumberland Valley Sets Two New Records |
Step 'n Stride, an annual fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness-Cumberland Valley, set two records on Saturday, October 24, 2009.
Step 'n Stride, set a new record for donations along with the amount of participants. The event received over $170,000 in donations and is continuing to rise, since donations will still be accepted for the event until the end of the yaer. Over 1,000 people participated in the event, also setting a new record.
All the proceeds are kept locally within the community to support the free programs offered by BCA--CV, including mammograms, wig bank, prosthesis bank, toll-free Hopeline and support groups.
DH WEB, is proud to be a part of Breast Cancer Awareness-Cumberland Valley (www.bcacv.org). DH WEB provides all the BCA--CV's website design, hosting, and online registration services.
DH WEB, Inc. designed a custom online web application that allows the event participants to register, start a team, join a team, and donate to a either a participant or team for the annual Step 'n Stride, along with other BCA--CV events.
